Supercar Lexus LFA will receive the track version

Company Lexus is full determination to create track supercar LFA updatings which weight will be lowered, and all necessary units are prepared for use in amateur racing competitions. On it informs British magazine Autocar referring to not named sources inside Lexus.

On weight of the track version supercar Lexus LFA, which weight "in base" how many is planned to lower makes 1,48 tons, and to what completions the car will turn up, at present is not specified.

I will notice, that usual LFA it is equipped with 560-strong atmospheric motor V10 in volume of 4,8L, the robotised 6-step transmission and differential Torsen on a back axis. According to Lexus, with 0 to 100 km/h such car is dispersed for 3,7 sec, and the maximum speed makes 325 km/h.

The limited version LFA

In total it is planned to make only 500 copies supercar Lexus LFA, however the prices for a novelty are not known yet. On preliminary data, cost of the base car in Europe will make about 368,000 euro.

Supercar Lexus LFA has received the 560-strong engine

On the eve of official presentation supercar Lexus LFA some foreign mass-media have published the first details about this car. According to OmniAuto, LFA it will be equipped with 4,8-l atmospheric motor V10 developing 560HP, and it can be dispersed to 100 km/h for 3,7 sec.

Lexus LFA it will be equipped by a 6-step transmission and differential Torsen on a back axis. About 65% of a body a supercar are executed from carbon thanks to what the weight of the car makes less than 1,48 tons. Weight distribution on axes — 48/52 in favour of a back axis.

In total Lexus plans to make such 500 cars. The exact prices for a novelty and a quota on regions are not specified yet. Earlier it was informed, that in Europe LFA will cost about 290,000 euro.
