California Speedway
The Calif. Speedway is settled in bonny Southern Calif. with miles of beaches, world famous attractions and sporting events for all fans. The Speedway facilities include the Fan Zone, that provides fans with superior dining at the Apex by Wolfgang Puck, live recreation and leisure areas. Admission to the Fan Zone is included, with vie ticket purchase. The Speedway Town Center is the hub of activity with different vendors selling souvenirs and sponsor displays and exhibits.
The Speedway hosts a wide range of events each flavour including the NASCAR Cup Series, Craftsman Truck, US Motorcycle Racing, Suzuki Superbike, the Historic Cars Festival and much more. Several car clubs, such as the Porsche Owners Club and the Calif. Sports Car Club, hold regular events at the Speedway. Admission varies by event with single period tickets play at $22.00. There are Super Fan packages available, and each package includes vie tickets, pre-race pit passes and free gifts.
In addition to its many racing events, the Speedway gives fans the ultimate thrill: rise behindhand the wheel and play their engine! The Speedway is home to seven driving schools that offer training on NASCAR, Stock cars, Karts and Motorcycles. They give safety tips, utility education, and then give you the opportunity to verify a turn around the track yourself. The ultimate dream of every vie fan can be a reality.
During racing events, the Calif. Speedway is your home away from home with tenting sites acquirable in the backyard. They offer a package that includes 1 RV parking site, 2 reserved grandstand tickets for Saturday and Sunday events, portable showers and shuttle service for $410.00. The El Monte RV Park offers infield tenting sites with a variety of packages bespoken for each event.
The Auto Club of Calif. is also housed at the Speedway facility, and was the 2005 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Track of the Year. Drivers consider the new track one of the smoothest and fastest in use. Events at the drag field include JR Dragster, Street Legal Drag, Pacific Street Car, MHRA Summit Series and Funny Cars, to name a few. Ticket prices depend on the event, but general admission starts at $10 for many of the events.
