The striking similarity of Maruti Suzuki A-Star with its rival Hyundai i10 has stirred competition between the cars in the same segment with fuel efficient engines. If on one hand the Hyundai's i10 prominent features include the low slung grille, the prominent strip housing a number plate and the flame shaped headlamps, then on the other hand, a vertical A-pillar, a bulged out appearance and inverted C-pillar are the trademark of the A-star.
