Following generation Honda Civic becomes even more unusual

Model Honda Civic of the following generation, which debut will take place in a year or two, becomes more compact and will receive even more unusual design, than present family.

According to executive directors Honda Motor, it was initially planned, that new Civic metal rolling and other raw materials will be larger and more expensive than the predecessor, however after the analysis of the forecast of the prices for mineral oil, the company management has decided to change the project. Now the new family is planned to make more compact, easier and more economic. Besides, new platform Honda Civic will be initially adapted under use of a hybrid power-plant.

Let's remind, that platform Civic is widely used by company Honda — on the basis of Civic crossovers CR-V and HR-V, and also minivan Stream and compact FR-V are constructed.
